Franz Leuser (* 12. February 1913 in Heidelberg , † 31 March 2005 ) was a German politician of the CDU . From 1964 to 1976 he was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg for the constituency of Donaueschingen .

Political activity

Leuser has been politically active since the 1950s. First he was a councilor for the CDU in Donaueschingen. From 1951 to 1972 he was district chairman. In 1963 he was nominated for the first time for the state parliament. In this election, the members of the district association should vote for the first time and not just delegates. Leuser won the election, which, however, was challenged by the previous incumbent. The election had to be repeated. In the state elections in 1964 , 1968 and 1972 , he entered the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg , which he was a member of until 1976. In all three election periods he won the direct mandate in constituency 48 (Donaueschingen).
