Franz Luster-Haggeney

Franz Luster-Haggeney (born January 4, 1895 in Hausen (near Worbis ), † March 23, 1958 in Meschede ) was a farmer and politician.

Live and act

Luster-Haggeney attended agricultural school. He was a farmer and district farmer . Between 1928 and 1932 he was a member of the Christian National Peasant and Rural People's Party . After that he was a member of the Center Party until 1933 . He was married and had eight children.

Between 1926 and 1933 he was community representative in Liesborn and between 1929 and 1934 also official representative and from 1929 to 1933 a member of the district council of the Beckum district . He was also a member of the Prussian State Council .

After the Second World War , Luster-Haggeney joined the CDU . From 1945 to 1948 he was again a member of the district council. During this time he was also the head of the district farming community. Since 1949 he was also district leader of the Chamber of Agriculture Westphalia-Lippe and chairman of the agricultural district association.

Between 1946 and 1956 Luster-Haggeney served as district administrator for the Beckum district. In 1946 he was a member of the Provincial Council for Westphalia and in 1946 and 1947 a member of the appointed Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was also a member of the British Zone Zone Council in 1947 and 1948 . Since 1947 he was directly elected member of the constituency Beckum-Ost in the first three terms of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .
