Franz Niedermaier
Franz Niedermaier (born May 13, 1925 in Munich ; † April 5, 1986 ) was a German lawyer , judge at the Federal Administrative Court and judge at the Federal Constitutional Court .
Life
Niedermaier was employed by the Bavarian State Ministry for Food, Agriculture and Forests from 1946 to 1948 . In 1955 he joined the Bavarian financial administration. In 1961 he was appointed administrative judge. Two years later he took over the office of public prosecutor at the Bavarian Administrative Court . In 1966 he was appointed to the Federal Administrative Court, where he was appointed chairman of the 2nd revision senate in 1977 . Later he also chaired the 2nd Disciplinary Senate. After 16 years at the highest German administrative court, he was elected judge of the Federal Constitutional Court by the Bundestag on a proposal by the Union in 1983 , but died in office three years later.
