Franz Pfister

Franz Joseph Pfister (* around 1796 in Heidelberg ; † April 20, 1871 in Freiburg im Breisgau ; Catholic) was a lawyer and official member of the Baden state service , comparable to today's district administrator .

Life

Franz Pfister studied law at the University of Heidelberg . In 1816 he became a member of the Corps Suevia Heidelberg . After completing his studies, he was a legal intern from 1821 to 1830, and from January 29, 1828 as a paid secretariat intern at the court in Rastatt . On April 27, 1830, as secretary of the court court, he was given the right to written constitution in judicial matters and from June 21, 1830 also in administrative matters. On January 27, 1832 he became a bailiff and third official at the Mosbach district office and rose from July 25, 1833 to the second official. On May 16, 1835, he became senior magistrate and chief officer at the district office in Gengenbach and on November 14, 1836 senior civil servant and chief officer at the district office in Constance . He had the same function from December 15, 1842 at the Bretten district office and from 1849 at the Oberkirch district office . His last job was on January 24, 1855, at the Ettenheim district office , before being retired on October 1, 1864.
