Franz Podgorski (born April 3, 1913 , † after 1953) was a German football player and coach .
Career
Podgorski played for Borussia Dortmund in 1947/48 in the Oberliga West , the highest German division at the time, and contributed five goals in 18 league games to the West German championship. For the 1948/49 season he moved to the Ruhr area rivals FC Schalke 04 , where he ended his active football career after only one season and six league games. After acquiring his coaching license , he took over SV Hemer 08 , based in Hemer in the Märkisches Kreis , which he led in 1953 in the Landesliga Westfalen Group 2 .
