Franz Renz (politician)

Franz Renz (born June 17, 1900 in Mainz , † July 21, 1968 in Homburg ) was a German hairdresser and politician ( NSDAP ) and a member of the Landtag of the People's State of Hesse in the Weimar Republic .

Family and work

Franz Renz was the son of the baker Friedrich Anton Renz and his wife Katharina nee Staab. Franz Renz, who was a Catholic denomination, was married to Anna nee Schwab.

Franz Renz was master hairdresser in Alzey . In 1930 he became Federal President of the Association of German Hairdressers .

politics

Franz Renz became Gauleiter of the NSDAP in 1930 and belonged to the state parliament from 1932 to 1933 and the 6th and 7th electoral periods. After the " seizure of power " by the National Socialists in 1933, he became the Hessian state commissioner for medium-sized businesses.
