Act

Franz Stetter has published numerous scientific papers. His work "Software Technology" with 17 course units is the standard work of university teaching. Stetter's scientific priorities were

  • Investigation of communication procedures in regular networks
  • HBBS - A hierarchical blackboard system for distributed design
  • Expert system-based reverse engineering
  • Parallelism in Basic LOTOS
  • Computer-aided prototyping using natural language specifications

Stetter is a member of the metrics specialist group of the Society for Computer Science and a member of the advisory board of university professors in the Society for Computer Science.

In addition to his contributions in the field of computer science, Franz Stetter has researched the genealogical past of his family in two extensive works and recorded around 10,000 data in a corresponding online database.
