Franz Weber (theologian)

Franz Weber (born September 24, 1945 in Tregist, municipality of Voitsberg in Styria) is an Austrian Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

Weber studied Roman Catholic theology at the Otto Friedrich University of Bamberg , the University of Rome and the University of Graz . In 1972 Weber was ordained a Catholic priest.

From 1994 to 1997 Weber was pastor in Messendorf ( parish Hart near Graz ).

From 1997 to 2011 Weber was professor for pastoral theology at the University of Innsbruck .
