Franz Weissermel

Franz Weißermel (born April 16, 1862 in Groß Kruschin , Strasburg district in West Prussia , † 1940 in Berlin ) was a German administrative lawyer and member of parliament in West Prussia.

Life

Weißermel studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg , the University of Jena , the Kaiser-Wilhelms-Universität Strasbourg and the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin . Since 1882 he was a member of the Corps Guestphalia Jena and Palatia Strasbourg .

In 1894 he became a special commissioner in Konitz . He had been a government councilor since 1901 and was elected to the Prussian House of Representatives in 1908 . For the German Conservative Party he represented the constituency Marienwerder 7 (Konitz, Trachel, Schlochau) in the XXI until 1918 . and XXII. Electoral term. From 1919 he belonged to the German National People's Party in the Prussian state assembly and then until 1932 in the Prussian state parliament .

After 1920 he became involved in the Reichslandbund . In the Prussian Army he was a major in the reserve . From 1919 to 1924 he sat on the general committee of the VAC . As a member of the Water Sports Association of Old Corps Students , he campaigned for the reconstitution of the Corps Frankonia Prague in the capital of Czechoslovakia .
