Franz Xaver Frey
Franz Xaver Frey (born May 22, 1928 in Nettershausen ; † November 18, 1987 in Bobingen ) was a German lawyer and local politician ( CSU ).
Career
Frey studied law at the University of Erlangen and received his doctorate in 1954. jur.
From 1957 until the municipal area reform in 1972 he was district administrator of the then independent district of Schwabmünchen . The Bobingen and Schwabmünchen hospitals were established during his tenure .
From 1972 until his death he was district administrator for the Augsburg district . The central hospital in Augsburg was completed under his leadership . In 1978 he became a senator in the Bavarian Senate and chairman of the Bavarian district association, and in 1981 he became vice-president of the German district council . Frey also held these offices until his death.
Karl Vogele was elected as his successor as district administrator in the municipal elections in 1988 .
