Franz Xaver Schmuzer
Franz Xaver Schmuzer (* 1713 ; † April 24, 1775 in Wessobrunn ) was a German painter and plasterer of the Wessobrunn school . He was the son of Joseph Schmuzer and belonged to the Schmuzer family of artists who, in addition to the Feichtmayr and Zimmermann families, produced the most important artists of the Wessobrunn school.

- 1735: Side chapels of the pilgrimage church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary in Ilgen ( Steingaden )
- 1748: Stucco decoration in the choir of the branch church Our Lady in Petzenhausen ( Weil )
- around 1750: Stucco decoration of the Church of St. Petrus and Paulus in Petzenhausen ( Weil )
- around 1750: Baroque renovation of the monastery church of the Assumption in Ettal (together with Johann Georg Üblhör )
- 1756: The pilgrimage church Maria Kappel in Schmiechen is baroque
