Franz Xaver Werkstetter (born April 28, 1933 in Mehring ) is a German politician ( CSU ). He belonged to the Bavarian state parliament .

Life

Werkstetter attended elementary school and the humanistic high school in Burghausen . He studied at the State Economics Faculty of the University of Munich and obtained the diploma in trade as well as the state examination and the administrative diploma from the Administration and Business Academy in Munich. He passed an additional examination for the higher teaching degree in history and social studies and was then employed at the vocational school in Pfaffenhofen / Ilm , then at the vocational school in Freilassing . In 1974 he became director of studies and in 1976 head of the Bad Reichenhall branch of the vocational school in the Berchtesgadener Land district . He reached the office of senior director of studies.

In 1966 Werkstetter became city ​​councilor in Freilassing and district councilor in the district of Laufen . After the regional reform , he became district chairman of the CSU district association Berchtesgadener Land in 1972, district councilor in the new district of Berchtesgadener Land in 1978 and again city councilor in Freilassing in 1984. From June 7, 1977 to 1990 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament . First started as a list candidate, he moved up for Ludwig Huber . In the following elections he was always successful as a direct candidate in the district of Berchtesgadener Land .
