Thomas Jauch (director)
Thomas Jauch (born January 9, 1958 in Bari , Italy ) is a German film director .
Life
Thomas Jauch grew up in Munich after his parents moved with him from Italy at the age of two. After studying business administration in the field of marketing / communication, Jauch worked as a production manager and assistant director in the advertising film industry, later as an assistant director a. a. with Wolfgang Petersen , Vadim Glowna and John Frankenheimer .
Jauch has worked as a television director since 1994 and has made a name for himself there mainly with crime series such as the crime scene series as well as with episodes by Schimanski , The Crimes of Professor Capellari , The Duo and Post Mortem . One of the latest productions in 2013 was Beste Freundinnen (with Ulrike Kriener and Lena Stolze ).
Thomas Jauch lives in Hamburg today.
