Franz de Gabrieli (also: Francesco and Franz Joseph ) (* 1688 in Roveredo ? † October 27, 1726 in Oettingen ) was an architect and plasterer from Graubünden .

His parents were the master mason Giovanni Gabrieli from Roveredo and his wife (Maria) Domenica, a daughter of the builder Gaspare Zuccalli . He was a younger brother of the prince-bishop's court building director Gabriel de Gabrieli and built the Catholic Church of St. George in Gnotzheim as a new baroque sacred space on his behalf, but as a new design. The following year appears in the register of the Catholic parish in Oettingen as “natione Grisso (= Graubündner) architectus in Baldern and Oettingen”. On March 5, 1726 he married the widow Theresia Heidwig, Vögtin zu Arberg, in Eichstätt . In the same year he built the orangery in Oettingen under Count Kraft Anton von Oettingen-Baldern . 1726 is also the year of his death; on October 29th he was buried in the cemetery of the parish of Öttingen.
