Count Franz Friedrich Carl zu Solms-Rödelheim and Assenheim (born April 27, 1796 in Assenheim , † November 10, 1852 there ) was a Prussian soldier and Hessian member of the House of Solms-Rödelheim .

Life

Franz Graf zu Solms-Rödelheim came from the Hessian noble family Solms . He was a son of Volrath Friedrich Carl Ludwig Graf zu Solms-Rödelheim and Assenheim (1762-1818) and his wife Philippine Charlotte Sophie née Countess of Solms-Laubach (1771-1807). Franz was the younger brother of Karl zu Solms-Rödelheim . Franz Graf zu Solms-Rödelheim remained unmarried and without descendants.

He served in the Prussian military service. After the death of his brother, his son Maximilian zu Solms-Rödelheim (1826-1892) inherited his rulership . As a registrar, he would automatically be a member of the first chamber of the estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse according to the constitution of the Grand Duchy of Hesse . However, since he was still a minor, Franz represented him in the state parliament from 1844 to 1847. He never took part in the deliberations and was excused.
