Franz zu Solms-Rödelheim (1864–1923)
Count Karl Franz zu Solms-Rödelheim and Assenheim (born December 15, 1864 in Assenheim ; † February 9, 1923 there ) was a Hessian landlord and landowner from the house of Solms-Rödelheim .
Life
origin
Franz Graf zu Solms-Rödelheim came from the Hessian noble family Solms . His father was Maximilian Graf zu Solms-Rödelheim (* May 14, 1826 - † February 15, 1892) and his mother Thekla Gräfin zu Solms-Laubach (* June 4, 1836 - January 17, 1892).
Career
He studied at the University of Munich and from 1888 to 1889 at the Royal Saxon Forest Academy Tharand. In 1897 he became Prime Lieutenant of the Infantry and in 1905 a captain.
In 1892 he took over the class rule. As a result, he was (1894), from 1896 to 1818 a member of the Prussian manor house and from 1892 to 1918 of the First Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .
With the November Revolution of 1918, the privileges of the nobility were abolished and the history of the First Chamber of the Estates and the Manor ended.
family
On October 26, 1892 in Ettal / Upper Bavaria, he married Anastasia von Pappenheim (1863–1904), the daughter of Ludwig Ferdinand Friedrich Graf und Herr zu Papenheim (1815–1883) and his wife Anastasia Kathrina nee Countess zu Schlieffen (1827–1898) . His second marriage was on July 25, 1907 in Castell Jenny von Castell-Castell (1866–1923), the daughter of Carl von Castell-Castell (1826–1886) and his wife Emma, née Countess zu Solms-Rödelheim.
Franz Graf zu Solms-Rödelheim had the following children:
