Franziska Bröckl (born June 13, 1994 in Halle (Westphalia) ) is a German soccer player .
Career
societies
Bröckl played up to the C-youth at SC Halle and moved in 2008 to Herford SV , for which she was active three seasons in youth. On March 6, 2011 she was substituted for the first time in the Bundesliga team. For the 2011/12 season, she moved to FSV Gütersloh in 2009 , with whom she was promoted to the Bundesliga in 2012 and made twelve other first division appearances in 2012/13. After two years in Gütersloh, she left the club and continued her footballing career with the South Florida Bulls , the college team at the University of South Florida . After playing eight games for the Bulls in 2013, she returned to Germany in January 2014 and initially played for the second team of FSV Gütersloh in the fourth-class Westfalenliga , scoring nine goals in ten games. In the summer of 2014, she began studying sports science at the Ruhr University Bochum and moved to the second division club VfL Bochum .
National team
On May 18, 2010, Bröckl played for the first time for the U-16 national team , with whom she came second at the Nordic Cup in Denmark in July 2010 . Since December 2010 she played for the U-17 national team . At the finals of the U-17 European Championship 2011 in Nyon / Switzerland, it was used both in the semi-final against France, which was lost 5-6 on penalties , and in the game for third place, which was won 8-2 against Iceland. On February 28, 2012, Bröckl was used for the first time for the German U-19 national team as part of the test match against the Dutch team and was appointed to the squad for the European Championship finals in Wales in 2013 . There the team reached the semi-finals, but Bröckl remained without a tournament.
