Women rule the world was the German contribution to the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 and was sung by Roger Cicero . The composition came from Matthias Hass in collaboration with the lyricist Frank Ramond .

In the German preliminary round , Cicero was able to prevail over the girl group Monrose and Heinz-Rudolf Kunze . Cicero, with starting number 16 (after Serebro for Russia with Song Number One and ahead of Marija Šerifović from Serbia with Molitva ), finished 19th with 49 points.

Publications

The song was released on March 9, 2007 as a single CD. In addition to the theme song Wenn Sie As dich as well as live versions of My Good Star on All Paths and Nice That You're There (all from the 2006 album Mannersachen ) and an instrumental version of the theme song were included. The single reached number 7 in the singles chart in Germany , number 51 in Austria and number 64 in the singles charts in Switzerland . The song was also included on the 2007 re-release of the album Mannersachen as a bonus track and on various compilations such as Best of 2007 ( EMI ).
