Frank Ramond

Frank Ramond (born April 7, 1964 in Istanbul ) is a German - French songwriter , composer , singer and music producer .

Life

Frank Ramond's father is French, his mother German. He attended school in Mexico City , then in Hamburg . In 1983 he graduated from the Hamburg Jesuit High School in St. Ansgar . During his law studies, he produced his first records and worked as an advertising spokesman. From 1996 to 1997 Frank Ramond was a live musician in the ensemble Lotto King Karl & the Barmbek Dream Boys. Since then he has worked as a music producer and songwriter.

So far, his work comprises around 500 titles, including numerous sales and broadcasting successes at home and abroad.

In 2006 he was elected deputy and in 2009 a full member of the GEMA Supervisory Board .

He wrote for Udo Lindenberg , Oli.P , Barbara Schöneberger , Yvonne Catterfeld , Christina Stürmer , Die Lollipops , DJ Ötzi , Truck Stop , Goldrausch , Nino de Angelo , Lotto King Karl , Vicky Leandros , Roger Whittaker , Annett Louisan , Jördis Tielsch , Mary Roos , Ina Müller , Die Puhdys , Joana Zimmer , Sisterherz , Mirja Boes , Daniel Caccia and Roger Cicero , for whom he wrote the lyrics in 2007 Women rule the world , the German contribution to the Eurovision Song Contest .

In 2009 and 2011 he released solo albums.

Ramond wrote the lyrics to the music of Martin Lingnau for the musical Das Wunder von Bern , which premiered in Hamburg in 2014.
