Ina Müller (born July 25, 1965 in Köhlen ) is a German singer , music cabaret artist , book author and television presenter .

Life

Ina Müller grew up as the fourth of five daughters in a farming family in Köhlen. After training as a pharmaceutical-technical assistant at the Dr. From Morgenstern schools in Lüneburg she worked in pharmacies in Bremen-Blumenthal , Westerland on Sylt and Munich . She became known through the cabaret duo Queen Bee, founded together with Edda Schnittgard in 1994 . On December 10, 2005, they gave their farewell performance in the Bonn Pantheon . Ina Müller has been working on her own projects since 2002, initially mainly in the area of ​​the Low German language.

In her books and songs she creates new space for Low German and its culture. More recently wrote and spoke Müller for the traditional Low German series Look 'n pray to the NDR - radio .

In 2004 Ina Müller made a guest appearance in the ARD series Großstadtrevier . In February 2006 she started her second solo program: Ina Müller reads and sings op Platt . She had a show on NDR called Land & Liebe and hosted Inas Norden from 2005 to 2008 . She also made guest appearances on various NDR broadcasts. From autumn 2006 Ina Müller went on tour with a band under the theme of Female, Single, 40 . She regularly writes the lyrics of her songs herself, working with Frank Ramond , who u. a. also writes for Annett Louisan and wrote for Roger Cicero .

Since 2007 she has hosted her late night show Inas Nacht on NDR , for which she a. a. In 2008 she received the German Television Prize , in 2009 the German Comedy Prize and in 2010 the Grimme Prize . From November 2009, the first broadcast of her late night show took place on Thursday evening in the first and since September 2011 on Saturday evening.

In February 2009, she hosted the gala show on the First for Heinz Erhardt's 100th birthday. On March 22, 2012, she received two echoes at the Echo Gala after being nominated five times in the previous years. She also sang the song Valerie with Ivy Quainoo , Aura Dione , Caro Emerald and Dionne Bromfield in honor of Amy Winehouse . In 2014 Ina was again awarded the Echo for the best national pop / rock artist for album 48 . In November 2014 Ina Müller took part in the German version for the 30th anniversary of Band Aid .

In 2015 Müller, who has already been awarded gold several times, received a platinum award for her CD 48 . She was also nominated for the Echo in 2015. In January 2015, Müller was on the show Through the night with ... , in which she spends an evening in Barcelona with Sarah Connor . In March 2015, she took part in the Austrian satire talk show Wir sind Kaiser . In September 2015 she was on Bülent Ceylan's RTL show Bülent & his friends . In addition, she and Bjarne Mädel looked back on 50 years of NDR in a TV show. On this occasion, she also shot several new Das-Beste-am-Norden- Spots for the NDR together with Detlev Buck and was seen again in short acting roles. For Buck, Müller had already taken on a small role in his film adaptation of Bibi and Tina 2 in 2014 . At the end of September 2015 she took over a farm for 7 days in the show I'll make you the farm, which was shown on NDR.

On April 6, 2017 Ina Müller was again awarded the Echo / Artist Pop National - her fourth Echo. On June 21, 2018 she received the Paul-Lincke-Ring from the city of Goslar .

For the moderation of the German Computer Game Award 2019, Müller was criticized in several German media for having "still used [the] air down" - even after the previous year's award ceremony, which was moderated by Barbara Schöneberger "with old-fashioned jokes".

Ina Müller is in a relationship with Johannes Oerding . Oerding was previously a guest on her show and was on tour with her in the opening act.
