Fred Koester

Fred Köster (born December 1, 1896 ; † after 1942; occasionally also Fred Koester ) was a German actor .

Life

Fred Köster began his film career in 1924 as an actor in the silent film Girls Who Are Not Married by Géza von Bolváry . From 1936 he worked in numerous film productions, mostly in supporting roles. These included the 1938 adventure films Der Tiger von Eschnapur and The Indian Tomb by Richard Eichberg with Frits van Dongen , La Jana , Alexander Golling , Theo Lingen and Gisela Schlüter and in the same year the crime film Mordsache Holm by Erich Engels with Walter Steinbeck and Harald Paulsen and Hans Leibelt . In the historical film The Immortal Heart by Veit Harlan with Kristina Söderbaum , Heinrich George and Paul Wegener , he embodied the character of Emperor Maximilian von Habsburg .

As the last film work by Fred Köster in 1942, an involvement in Meine Frau Teresa can be proven.
