Fred Schneider
Fred Schneider (born July 1, 1951 in Newark , New Jersey ) is an American musician and member of the rock band The B-52’s from Athens , Georgia .

In addition to his music career in the band The B-52’s , Schneider released two solo musical albums:
- Fred Schneider & the Shake Society (1984 and 1991)
- Just Fred (1996), that of Steve Albini produced
Schneider was a guest singer on the song Hedwig an the Angry Inch (tribute cover of Angry Inch on the album Wig in a Box by Sleater-Kinney ) and on the 1990 album Primal Dream by Richard Barone .
He was also involved in several titles on Sophie Ellis-Bextor's album Trip the Light Fantastic , the song Planet Claire by the Foo Fighters and the eco rap of the cartoon character Captain Planet .
