Freddy Santiago Mayola Fernández (born November 1, 1977 in Havana ) is a Cuban sprinter whose best result was winning the bronze medal with the Cuban 4 x 100 meter relay at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney . Together with José Ángel César , Luis Alberto Pérez-Rionda and Iván García , Mayola only had to admit defeat to the US and Brazil seasons in 38.04 seconds.
Mayola won a silver medal at the Pan American Games in 1999 and finished fourth in the 60-meter run at the 2001 World Indoor Championships in Lisbon . Mayola also won three times (1998, 2000, 2001) at the Cuban National Championships in the 100-meter run.
