Frederick Conrad of Holstein-Holsteinborg
Frederick Conrad von Holstein-Holsteinborg (born December 26, 1704 , † November 1, 1749 ) was a royal Danish lieutenant general and liege count of Holsteinborg and heir to Basnaes.
Life
On November 3, 1719 he became a captain in the body regiment on horseback, three years later, on October 9, 1722, he was transferred to the body guard on horseback. On September 10, 1734, the king appointed him adjutant general and chamberlain . He became a colonel and received the 5th Jutland cavalry regiment and the Oldenburg cavalry regiment. The regiment came in imperial pay and he took part in the Rhine campaign of 1734.
On January 20, 1739 he was appointed major general and on October 4, 1747 lieutenant general. In the same year he received the Danebrog Order and was also a privy councilor . He died in 1749.
family
He was the son of Count Adolf von Holstein-Holsteinborg (April 14, 1664 - August 25, 1737) from the Fürstenberg line and his wife Countess Christina Sophie von Reventlow (October 30, 1672 - June 7, 1757). The Danish Queen Anna Sophie von Reventlow was his mother's half-sister, and General Christian Detlev von Reventlow was her brother.
He married on June 22, 1729 Lucie Henriette von Blome (* July 26, 1713; † April 16, 1772) to Farve and Waterneversdorff, as well as Dame des Ordre de l'union parfaite . She was the daughter of Heinrich von Blome and Elisabeth von Rantzau . The couple had several children including:
