Frederick Owusu
Frederick Owusu ( Frederick Akuffo Owusu; born September 23, 1936 in Akropong , Akuapim North District ) is a former Ghanaian sprinter and middle-distance runner .
In 1958 he failed at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff over 440 yards , 880 yards and with the Ghanaian 4-by-440-yard relay in the lead.
At the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960 he was eliminated over 800 m in the first round and reached the semi-finals in the 4 x 400 meter relay .
In 1962 he won bronze at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Perth with the Ghanaian 4-by-440-yard relay.
