Frederik Fleig

Frederik Fleig is a German journalist , author and reporter .

Life

Fleig studied journalism, worked in various editorial offices and moderated at the University Radio Kölncampus .

Since 2017 he works as a freelance reporter for the radio station 1 Live . In addition to his appearances as a reporter in the daily program of 1LIVE, he produces radio and video contributions for various media, mainly within the WDR .

For his report Fake Influencer: Earning a lot of money with fake likes? In 2018 it was nominated for the German Radio Prize in the category Best Reportage . The contribution arose from a cooperation between 1 Live and the YouTube format reporter from the online media format Funk (media offer) and reached around 900,000 views on YouTube.

In 2019 he was nominated again for the German Radio Prize, this time for his contribution as a reporter in the 1-LIVE program action The Dark Side - Mobbing.

Also in 2019 Fleig traveled to Ethiopia for a report . Disguised as an investor, he was given access to the large production facilities of the booming textile industry in Ethiopia and reported on it in many German media.

Since 2020 he has been working as a host / reporter for the public YouTube channel Y-Kollektiv . Fleig published his first video documentation there in June 2020. The title of his report is "Illegal Raves in Leipzig - Party despite distance rules?" and reached more than 500,000 views on YouTube.

He published his journalistic projects on 1 Live , Y-Kollektiv , WDR 2 , WDR 5 , COSMO (radio station) , KiRaKa , Deutschlandfunk Nova , Deutsche Welle Quarks and Co , You FM , Special Broadcasting Service and Focus Online .
