Freja Beha Erichsen
Freja Beha Erichsen (born October 18, 1987 in Roskilde ) is a Danish model .
Career
Freja Beha Erichsen attended Frederiksberg Gymnasium and was accidentally discovered by a model agent on the streets of her home country Denmark. Her first appearances at major fashion shows began in Paris and Milan in 2005 when she opened the Prada , Louis Vuitton and Miu Miu shows . She also appears on many important catwalks in the well-known fashion cities of New York, Paris, Milan and London. Erichsen walks the " catwalk " for haute couture, including Chanel , Christian Dior , Gucci and many other fashion labels .
She also appears in many advertising campaigns, for example for Jil Sander , Gucci , Hugo Boss . She is the face of the Guccy by Gucci fragrances, alongside her colleagues Natasha Poly and Raquel Zimmermann . At a photo session she was introduced by fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld and make-up artist James Kaliardos in November 2006 as the new face of Chanel .
Freja Beha Erichsen appears on the front pages and in articles in the American, French, German and many other country editions of the fashion magazine Vogue .
Several fashion items were named after her - including the Jill Stuart Freja handbag , the Chloé Freja clutch and the Alexander Wang Freja lace-up stiletto boots with zip detail.
In 2013 she was eleventh on models.com's Top 50 Models Women list, but was already in second place. Vogue Paris said she was among the top 30 models of the 2000s.
The 2011 Pirelli calendar photographed by Karl Lagerfeld contained a page with Freja's picture.
