The Fretterbach is a 16.7 km long orographically right tributary of the Lenne in Finnentrop , North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany .

The Fretterbach rises from the Fretterspring , northeast of Finnentrop-Fehrenbracht on the southeast flank of the Brachter Höhe ( 528  m above sea  level ) at an altitude of approx. 443  m above sea level. NN . From here the stream flows primarily in a south-westerly direction through Fehrenbracht , Serkenrode , Fretter , Deutmecke and Frettermühle . Below Frettermühle, the Fretterbach turns to the northwest and passes Müllen, before flowing through Lenhausen at 224  m above sea level. NN flows into the Lenne on the right.

In the course of its 16.7 km long path, the Fretterbach has a height difference of 219 m, which corresponds to an average bed gradient of 13.1 ‰. It drains a 44.772 km² catchment area via the Lenne, Ruhr and Rhine to the North Sea.
