Freydorf (noble family)
von Freydorf is a noble family from Baden . The gender is Protestant and comes from Karlsruhe . The family line begins with Karl Wilhelm Eugen von Freydorf , who was born in Karlsruhe in 1781 and died in 1854. The Baden nobility confirmation for his children is dated May 15, 1857. The family is a morganatic sideline of the House of Baden-Durlach and has its origin in the connection between Christoph von Baden-Durlach and Katharina Höllischer.
The von Freydorfs family crypt is located in the crypt hall of the Karlsruhe main cemetery .

The coat of arms is quartered and shows two crossed swords with gold in blue in fields 1 and 4, and in the opposite fields 2 and 3 in silver a rose with a blue velvet . The helmet covers are blue-silver, on the crowned helmet there are three ostrich feathers , the middle one silver, the two outer ones blue.
