Frieder Soberger

Frieder Soberger (born December 15, 1924 ; † March 14, 2020 ; civil: Siegfried Soberger ) was a German gospel singer from the 1960s to 1980s with a tenor voice .

He was discovered by music producer Johannes Haas and won over for the evangelical record label Happy Message in Song . In addition to solo and duet recordings with Haas as the accompanying baritone voice, Soberger worked as a soloist in various choral projects until the 1980s, including the singing group Frohe Message , Youth for Christ Choir and Schulte & Gerth Studio Choir .

Soberger was pastor of the United Methodist Church in Detmold and, since his retirement, headed the community choir. He was married to Hella, b. Gatz (1934-2013), and lived in Lemgo.
