action

Dr. For years, Camillo Cardan has been dealing with the brutal 17-time serial killer Devlon, whom he considers an inhuman being. The doctor sees evil personified in the perpetrator, a creature with clawed hands possessed by Satan . When Devlon is shot dead by the police in self-defense one day, the doctor is plagued by nightmarish visions of an imminent return. The alerted Cardan then contacted the local police and recommended the responsible police superintendent to safely cremate the body. He ignores the warnings and insists on a normal funeral. Cardan remains stubborn and forges a court order on Halloween evening to mobilize the police superintendent. Together with the officer, he finally goes to the local morgue, where Devlon is laid out to cremate his lifeless body.

Under the pretext of attending a huge party, three young men lure their friends to an empty villa that was last occupied by Devlon. The neglected building borders the local cemetery. In the seclusion the men try to get closer to their partners, but the mood of the ladies is badly clouded. The festivities seem to come to an end when one of the hosts discovers a mysterious black book with evocations of the devil. In order to impress the female party guests, the men present decide to try out a satanic ritual for the resurrection of the dead out of pure curiosity and naive arrogance. After an initial rejection, everyone is enthusiastic about the plan. So they secretly steal a particularly frightening corpse from the morgue - it is the bearded Devlon - and bring him to life by means of a black mass . When Devlon's lifeless body stirs in the midst of an oncoming storm, the six friends flee into the apparently saving house. With this act they put themselves in the highest danger. Devlon gets up, walks to the house and gradually kills the six present.

Meanwhile, Dr. Cardan, in the presence of the inspector, the disappearance of Devlon in the morgue. They secure traces and the officer writes up the missing dead person for a search while Dr. Cardan takes on the search for the murderer on his own.

In a third storyline, five Halloween-loving children appear at the said burial site to show their courage in the center of the cemetery. The children also include two of the police commissioner's children. After a strange appearance of fire, however, the minors lose their courage and seek help in the abandoned house, the scene of that bloody massacre. There the group soon finds the slaughtered dead of the reanimated serial killer. Completely frightened and harassed by Devlon, they flee through the cemetery to the exit of the area. Unfortunately, not only was Devlon resurrected that night, but also other dead who are now emerging from their graves. A merciless hunt begins. Dr. Cardan arrives at the desperate children who are constantly fighting off the host of the undead . With the help of crucifixes, he manages to keep the beasts at a distance for the upcoming task, the destruction of the satanic book of revival, which the children push into an open fire at the end of the film. Immediately afterwards the revenants disappear. Like Dr. Cardan saved. In the open end, Devlon rescues the book, badly damaged by the flames, and places it in its original place.
