Friedhofskirche (Kirchenlamitz)
The cemetery church of Kirchenlamitz is a Protestant cemetery church in Kirchenlamitz in the Upper Franconian district of Wunsiedel in the Fichtel Mountains .
The church and the cemetery including ten epitaphs attached to the cemetery wall are under monument protection . Various other tombs, mostly from the 17th and 18th centuries, of pastors, mayors or margravial servants are known that were still in the town church at the end of the 18th century.
At the cemetery, which was laid out at the end of the 15th century, the construction of a cemetery church began in 1660. The church lamitzer vicar Wilhelm Löhe preached in it when the town church burned down and had to be rebuilt. In 1893 the old church was torn down and a new building was built.
