Cemetery cross in Marcillac

The cemetery cross in Marcillac , a French commune in the Gironde department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , was erected in the 15th century. In 1907, the cross was added to the list of architectural monuments in France as a monument historique .

A high step leads to the base on which a rectangular column stands. The column consists of several zones and tapers towards the top. On its four sides there are a total of 12 sculptures depicting saints.
