Cross in the former Saint-Projet cemetery
The cross in the former Saint-Projet cemetery in Bordeaux , a French city in the Gironde department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , was erected in the 15th century. In 1926, the cross was added to the list of architectural monuments in France as a monument historique .
Only the Gothic shaft on which the cross stands is original. The cross itself was renewed at the beginning of the 20th century.
On the four sides of the shaft, framed by Gothic architectural elements, four saints are depicted.
