Pilgrim Cross in Belin-Béliet

The so-called pilgrim's cross in the Mons district of Belin-Béliet , a French town in the Gironde department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , was erected in the 15th or 16th century. In 1990, the cross was added to the list of architectural monuments in France as a monument historique .

The cross served the pilgrims as a landmark on the Way of St. James .

The shaft on which the cross is attached stands on a base on a seven-step pedestal.
