Cemetery cross in Branne

The cemetery cross in Branne , a French commune in the Gironde department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , was erected in the 17th century. In 1973 the cross was added to the list of architectural monuments in France as a monument historique .

A sinuous, fluted column stands on a rectangular base , which is crowned by a cross on a Corinthian capital . The cross is provided with ornamental engravings on both sides.
