Friedrich-Wilhelm Goldenbogen

Friedrich-Wilhelm Goldenbogen (born March 13, 1914 in Demmin ( Pomerania ), † April 20, 1982 in Gummersbach - Lantenbach ) was a German CDU politician .

The doctor of administrative law came to the Bergisches Land at the end of the war , when he was released from the Wehrmacht in Radevormwald in 1945 . His first job at the Oberberg district administration was as an employee of the District Administrator Dr. August Dresbach . The district council set up by the British occupying powers appointed Goldenbogen as senior district director on February 27, 1946 ; the first district council elected after the war in November 1946 confirmed this choice. In 1950 he joined the CDU Oberberg. He was instrumental in rebuilding the district. During his tenure, the OVAG was founded, the district vocational school in Gummersbach and Waldbröl and the district hospital in Gummersbach. He held this position for 33 years until his retirement on March 23, 1979. He died on April 20, 1982 in his home in Lantenbach.

A street in Waldbröl is named after Goldenbogen .
