Friedrich Adrian von Arnstedt

Friedrich Adrian von Arnstedt (born June 25, 1770 in Halberstadt ; † January 19, 1833 in Nordhausen ) was district administrator of the Grafschaft Hohenstein district and a member of the imperial estates of the Kingdom of Westphalia and the provincial estates of the Prussian province of Saxony .

Life

Arnstedt was a son of the Prussian council of war and director of the Hohenstein Chamber Deputation as well as the state director of the County of Hohenstein Karl Adrian von Arnstedt and Christiane Luise Antoinette von Lüdecke from the Nieder-Sickte house.

Career

After private lessons in his parents' house, he attended the cathedral school in Halberstadt from 1786 and studied camera sciences at the University of Halle from 1788 to 1791 . He then did his preparatory service at the War and Domain Chamber in Halberstadt. In 1793 he was appointed assessor . He was district administrator of the Grafschaft Hohenstein, later also state director. During the march of the French army in 1806/07 he took over the management of the provisioning and forwarding of the troops in Ellrich . After the French occupation he was deposed as district administrator and employed as director of indirect taxes in the Harz department .

From 1808 to 1813 Friedrich Adrian von Arnstedt was a member and president of the departmental electoral college of the Harz department , a member of the district council of the Nordhausen district and a member of the department council of the Harz department. He was also a member of the realm of the Kingdom of Westphalia for the landowners in the Harz department.

After the wars of liberation he became a member of the organization commission in Heiligenstadt . From 1816 to 1833 he was again district administrator of the Hohenstein district. From 1825 to 1831 he was a member of the provincial estates of the Province of Saxony for the knighthood of the Eichsfeld district.

Arnstedt was a legal knight of the Order of St. John .
