Friedrich Albert Eytelwein
Friedrich Albert Eytelwein (born May 20, 1796 in Berlin , † January 28, 1888 in Berlin) was a German architect and construction clerk .
His parents were the architect and engineer Johann Albert Eytelwein and Dorothea Charlotte Louise geb. Plum (1767-1828). He was probably the only son among seven children. In 1813 he took the surveyor's examination, became a government conductor and joined the Bülow Corps as a war volunteer. At the end of 1815 he said goodbye as a lieutenant and was employed as a construction conductor. In 1816 he passed the master builder examination and became a land and hydraulic engineering inspector in Königs Wusterhausen near Berlin. Until 1818 he was involved in the construction of the new lock in Spandau and from 1821 to 1823 he was in charge of the reconstruction of the Kreuzkirche in Königs Wusterhausen and the construction of the church tower. In 1824 he was appointed government and water engineering councilor to the government in Merseburg . In 1829 he was transferred to the Ministry of Finance as a construction adviser and was promoted to the senior building officer and lecturing council for the structural affairs of domains and forests. As a construction adviser, he was given access to the meetings of the superstructure deputation . In 1831 he was appointed a secret senior building officer and a member of the senior building deputation. In 1838 he became a secret chief finance councilor and on March 22, 1876 he became a real secret councilor with the title of excellence . On July 1, 1876, he was retired.
