Friedrich Bielitz

Friedrich Bielitz (born September 18, 1813 in Stallupönen , East Prussia ; † January 26, 1877 in Königsberg i. Pr. ) Was a German manor owner, administrative lawyer and member of parliament in Prussia.

Life

Bielitz studied law at the Albertus University in Königsberg . In the winter semester 1832/32 he was active in the Corpsland team Littuania . The government in Gumbinnen appointed him provisionally as a government trainee in 1841 and finally in 1842 as the district administrator in the Lötzen district . In July 1851 he received Friedrich Wilhelm IV. In 1853 he took out a loan from his employer in order to buy a house with living and office space for the district administrator. He repaid it with 225 thalers a year. Crown Prince Friedrich Wilhelm visited Lötzen in June 1863. After 33 years, Bielitz was retired on April 30, 1874. The remaining debt on the loan was waived "until further notice" after some back and forth. He moved to Königsberg, where he died at the age of 63.

Bielitz owned the Bartlichshöfchen manor in the Lötzen district. From 1852 to 1855 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Prussian Landtag and the Prussian House of Representatives for the constituency of Gumbinnen 6 .
