Friedrich Brüstle

Friedrich Wilhelm Brüstle (born September 11, 1899 in Schiltach , † October 11, 1969 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) was a German educator and politician ( BCSV , CDU ).

Life

After attending secondary school, Brüstle went through the teachers' seminar and then completed a degree at the Hochschule für Musik as well as at the university. He initially worked as a primary school teacher and until 1939 worked as a religion teacher at the Evangelical Church in Baden . He also dealt with church music. From 1939 to 1945 he took part in the Second World War as a soldier .

After the end of the war, Brüstle worked as a religion teacher and rector in Baden-Baden . He was first a school board member, then a district school board member and finally a district high school board member. In addition, he took over the artistic direction of the spiritual evening music at the Evangelical City Church in Offenburg . Politically, Brüstle had joined the BCSV, which later became the CDU regional association in South Baden. In December 1947, he replaced the resigned MP Karl Kraut in the Baden state parliament, to which he belonged until its dissolution in 1952.
