In the FIDE albums he got 58.5 points, ie Chlubna had been the FIDE International Master for Chess Composition since 1979 .
As early as 1971, FIDE had awarded him the title of International Chess Composition Judge . In 1980 he became editor of the "Problemschach" section of the Austrian magazine Schach-Aktiv . From 1983 to 1986 he also ran the problem section of the German chess sheets .

Another important publication is the book "The Matt of the White King", in which Chlubna introduces the self-matting genre.
After meeting John Roycroft in Turku in 1995 , Chlubna published Deceptive Simplicity for him in 1998 , in which he added copies of Mitrofanov's photographs to each edition . The book is considered a rarity today .
