Friedrich David Theodor Müller
David Müller (with full name Friedrich David Theodor Müller ; * July 28, 1828 in Königslutter am Elm ; † July 20, 1877 in Karlsruhe ) was a German historian .
Between 1847 and 1850 David Müller studied theology at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena , the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and the Georg August University in Göttingen . He obtained his doctorate in philosophy in Jena in 1858 . David Müller worked as a secondary school teacher, teaching French , Italian , English , religion , history and German . In 1872 he took over the chair of history from his predecessor Hermann Baumgarten at the Karlsruhe Polytechnic .
