Friedrich Eduard Oberländer
Friedrich Eduard Oberländer , from 1865 Freiherr von Oberländer (born August 13, 1807 in Crock , † March 18, 1879 in Meiningen ) was a German lawyer and politician.
Life
Oberländer was the son of pastor Heinrich Oberländer in Pfersdorf . He completed his law studies with a doctorate in law. jur. from. He entered the civil service of Sachsen-Meiningen and was first mayor of the city of Saalfeld . He rose to the position of Privy Councilor of State and Minister of State of the Duchy and was ennobled in 1865 by Duke Bernhard II of Saxony-Meiningen and raised to the rank of baron.
Oberländer was the first director of Mitteldeutsche Creditbank from 1857 to 1877 , from which today's Commerzbank emerged in 1929 , and also of Deutsche Hypothekenbank Meiningen , which was merged into Eurohypo .
Maximilian von Oberländer was his son.
