Friedrich Godward von Syberg

Friedrich Godward von Syberg (* 1656; † August 28, 1729 ) was a Prussian chamberlain , head stable master and general of the cavalry . He was a Knight of the Black Eagle Order .

He was the son of the commandant of Wesel , Kasper von Syberg zu Voerde († December 21, 1679) and his first wife Albertine von Steinhaus.

In 1705 he was promoted to major general and on September 7, 1711 King Friedrich Wilhelm I appointed him real chamberlain and major general of the cavalry. He was also a lieutenant colonel in the Garde du Corps and chief stableman. He was also a Knight of the Order of St. John and Commander of the Coming Wietersheim and Amtshauptmann of Lehnin and Mr. house Ermlinghofen (between Horde and Hacheney ). In January 1712 he became a Knight of the Black Eagle Order .

He was married to Louise Christiane von Bartholdi († October 5, 1725) a daughter of the Prussian Finance Minister von Bartholdi . The couple had no children.
