Friedrich Hermann Müller

Friedrich Hermann Müller (born June 17, 1826 in Eisleben , † May 16, 1903 in Bornstedt - Neuglück near Eisleben) was a German mine and factory owner and a member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Müller attended high school in Eisleben until 1845. By 1847 he completed practical training in the mountain subject in Saxony, in the Harz Mountains and in Upper Silesia. He then studied natural sciences and philosophy in Halle (Saale) , Heidelberg and Berlin until 1851 . In 1853 he received his doctorate at the University of Berlin and took over the management of his mines and industrial plants (company: Neuglücker Werke Friedrich Müller, Eisleben and Leopoldshall - Staßfurt , as well as Bornstedt-Neuglück near Eisleben) and his farm. Müller was district deputy of the Sangerhausen district , member of the district committee, district councilor, head of the Bornstedt district and a member of the Nordhausen Chamber of Commerce .

From 1877 to 1890 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Merseburg 6 (Sangerhausen, Eckartsberga ) and the National Liberal Party .
