Friedrich Jäger (politician, 1873)
Adolf Friedrich Jäger (born July 25, 1873 in Emmendingen , † March 30, 1955 in Karlsruhe ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).
Jäger worked as a middle civil servant in the civil service and in 1903 moved to the city administration of Karlsruhe. In 1928 he was appointed director of the city's main treasury and in 1930 became a city council member and chairman of the NSDAP parliamentary group. In 1933 he was elected by the National Socialists to succeed Mayor Julius Finter , who had been forced to resign. His term of office lasted from May 18, 1933 to July 25, 1938, when he was replaced by Oskar Hüssy . During the denazification process in 1949 he was classified as an incriminated person by the Karlsruhe Spruchkammer , but a year later his proceedings were discontinued due to the law of April 3, 1950.
