Friedrich Kautz (politician)

Friedrich Kautz (* around 1802 in Saarbrücken ; † 1879 in Bad Kreuznach ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

Born the son of a veterinarian , Kautz studied law in Heidelberg and Bonn after attending grammar school in Saarbrücken . During his studies in 1820 he became a member of the Germania Bonn fraternity . After graduating, he worked as a justice of the peace in Rhaunen , Kirn , Saarlouis and Kreuznach. Together with Heinrich Joseph Kampers , he campaigned for persecuted fraternity members during the demagogue era . He became a judiciary . In 1848 he was one of the 18 electors for the Frankfurt National Assembly . In 1851 he was involved in founding the Literary-Musical Society in Kreuznach. From 1852 to 1855 and from 1859 to 1862 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Prussian House of Representatives .
