Friedrich Roeingh

Friedrich Roeingh (born July 4, 1961 in Beverungen ) is a German journalist.

During his studies from 1981 to 1987 he volunteered at the Neue Westfälische . After obtaining his diploma, he was initially a freelance editor from 1988 and then until 1999 became the chief editor of the Badischer Tagblatt in Baden-Baden . From 1999 to 2002 he was editor-in-chief at Wiesbadener Kurier . In April 2003 he took over the editor-in-chief of the Westdeutsche Zeitung in Düsseldorf as successor to Michael Hartmann ; he held the post until January 2010.

Friedrich Roeingh has been editor-in-chief of the Mainzer Allgemeine Zeitung and the Wormser Zeitung , both of which belong to the Rhein Main publishing group , since February 2010 .
