Friedrich Sigmund von Sommerfeld

Friedrich Sigmund von Sommerfeld also Friedrich Siegmund Sommer von Sommerfeld († 1800 ) was a Prussian officer , last chief of the Königsberg Land Regiment and later colonel .

Sommerfeld was a member of a family whose nobility was confirmed and renewed on September 19 and October 1, 1786 by King Friedrich Wilhelm II .

On July 27, 1777, he took over the Königsberger Land Regiment (No. 2) with the rank of lieutenant colonel .

Sommerfeld was the last owner of the Königsberger Land Regiment, as the four land regiments were dissolved around 1790. In the aftermath of the dissolution of the regiment, he is said to have advanced to colonel.

In 1777 he married Anna Albertine Alexandrine von Wartensleben (* June 28, 1742; † February 3, 1803), widowed von Werthern , divorced von Burgsdorff and daughter of Colonel Hermann von Wartensleben .
